I have a wierd growth in may tank. Looks like intestins/colliflower

    It's off white white and stringy.

    Any ideas what this is? Is it harmful?

    Do snails or hermits eat this?

    It sounds like a sponge I have those in my tank they are harmless.....is it in a low light area??? I have a pic somewhere I will try to dig it up...

    I'll wait ont he picture, but I have a sponge in my tank I believe. But this stuff is different as it is stringy. It is just kinda folded up.

    It looks mor elike ramon noodles and is growing all over th eplace now.

    Any ideas?

    Is it kinda curly it might be tube worms....harmless fliter feeders....

    Kinda curly but it is loose and look identical to ramon noodles before they are cooked. If you were to open a bag of ramon noodles thats what they look like.

    They aren't tube worms. I know what they are and have them.
