Currently Running a 120g Aquarium. In the process of setting up a 180 after Taxes :D.

    Currently in:

    Purple Tang: 5"
    Naso Tang: 2.5"
    Cheveron Tang: 1.5"
    Magnificent Foxface: 6.5"
    Flame Firefish: 2.5"
    Algae Blenny: 4"

As you can see I have an Addiction to Surgeon Fish. Currently everyones a great happy little family. and they school a lot. Hardly ever see them not together. I kinda want to add one more addition to my surgeon family... However I'm kinda scared that I may upset their balance. Looking to add someone from the Acanthurus family, Possibly an Achilles or Lieutenant Tang. Im to the Point I don't know really what to do with my aquarium... Its a FOWLR.

If I want to branch out with a few smaller fish. Or one last larger fish. Or dive into the wonderful world of Corals. Opinions Please!

Hah Oh, Heres a picture from when I got the Chevron a while back. Sorry its blurry but it was on my phone with no flash :( or zoom.

I thought a Naso needed 220+. IMO Id stop adding fish. You have way to many tangs for that tank.

a 220 is the same as a 180, just 6 inches higher, so if a naso is okay in a 220 it will be fine in a 180. As long as your fish are small(which they are now) i see no problem in adding one more. Just make sure they are all getting along and you have plenty of surface aggitiaion to make for good gas exchanges!

I have a 180 currently with a sail fin, hippo, tommini and clown and plan on adding two more just not sure which ones yet!

I agree after your upgrade you should be fine to add one more. Try to add one about the same size as the others.

I dn't think you will ahve any issues, beside the fact that naso tangs get close to 2 feet long when grown. IMHO, a full grown naso will need a tank at least 400g's.

I do admit that would be pretty sweet to see a Naso get near two feet. Largest I've seen for sale online is 13". That in itself is magnificent!

:D Nice price, hopefully it eats. mine came via online... Got lucky. His favorite food is the flake food I feed him... Ate right after he was acclimated and had lights out for a bit.

Im currently trying to fatten my Chevron tang... The site I ordered him from sent him pretty emaciated. However he is eating like a pro as of now. So I have high hopes for the little feller.
