found these on a rock today, they are in a spot thats always shaded but I got pics with the flash, I had a ton of baby jumbo ceriths a month ago, could these be more on the way? I hope so, the LFS gave me like 45 cents per snail for the last 45 I took to them, 20 bucks off big mushroom rock, so I have at least 50 more at the moment, and now these eggs...hopefully someone can ID this, may not be eggs but it looks like it to me...

They do look like eggs, but it also looks like you have quite an algae problem.

yeah that one rock is getting a lot of hair algae, not a lot of flow on that part of it...but I'm working on the algae thing, I'll get it beat yet, I also keep forgetting about the light till about an hour after I'd like to turn them off, since my light doesn't have separate cords I can't use a timer...but mainly just wanna know what these things are gonna turn into at the moment

...oh and it looks worse then it is in the pic, cause i was zoomed in on the eggs and that rock is right near the glass where as the eggs are at the back...

it's bio-activ aragonite live sand, the color is "black beach" it has a pretty neat look to it with a variety of colors...one of my ceriths just came out of the sand below the eggs and crawled into that rock...not sure if these are the same as your ceriths 10acrewoods, they are the large ones about 2.5-3 inches long...I have seen my stomatella(sp?) snails broadcast and never saw eggs the first go around with the ceriths, just babies showed up, and they were spread out more then this when I noticed them so maybe these are something else...I hope something from them lives!

I have had the same thing. Mine were white though. Everyone told me the only hope for survival is if you can get them into the refugium. I was unable to get mine into the fuge before they were gobbled up.

I've got two patches of white eggs on the glass now from snails. Not sure how they ever make it, but months from now I'll have tons of babies after dark. It always happens. Cool to see all the babies come out after dark.;D

yeah, nothing has bothered the eggs yet, Im currently preoccupied with catching some mean damsels, I need to catch two smiths damsels and one of the blue ones I have, I nabbed one of the smiths with my trap but he got out of it as I was pulling the trap out of the water...now they are a bit weary of the trap so hopefully tomorrow with alot of time and some luck I can get them out, back to the LFS with those little ******s...
