It's the dominant fish that is displaying?

If so she could be challenging you.

I have a Domino in the 90 with the Oc. and I've seen my female lip lock and drag it around the tank when it got to close to her torch. But she's never gone submissive to anything that I'm aware of.

It was my male that would dance with his reflection but he's on the slow side. He helps clean house. She lays eggs. He joins in with the other fish having a feast and then guards an empty nest for a couple days. :-/

OK, this is hilarious, because I was just watching my clown do this vibrating move tonight to the other clown I have, and I figured it was a "mating" dance of some kind or another (to which I laughed hysterically at..." Hey baby, I know you want this*(gran-mal-seizure)*, Yeah, that's right, I got just what you need girl...*(another gran-mal-seizure)*

Anyways, I always saw my darker clown doing that move toward the other, and the lighter one would just do it's thing, but tonight, after observing them for a while, I saw the lighter clown do the seizure pick-up line back....Now if they are the same gender, I would assume that would meeeeeeannnnnnnn.........................

Thats what i thought...a clownfish is a clownfish is a clownfish (although one would argue that a maroon is not the same as a perc...but thats besides the point hahaha)

Haha. Yeah. Totally different species there. Same genus and family and all that good stuff, but I think most people could figure out that they will not pair together.

Yes it is the dominant one, i could believe that she is challenging me, she has never attacked me (yet) but she certainly is the boss of the tank (i let her think that anyway)

bahaha then i guess that would mean i may have a couple of clowns who are interested in their own flavor or persuasion, or however you want to say it so that it doesnt offened anyone (i tend to accidently offend people quite often so i try to be as PG as possible when i can haha) i already got kicked off of another forum that we will not mention(but i will hint that there has been a site made for people who hate that particular forum haha) before i joined this one, and i really like 3reef and everyone on here, so i have been trying my very best to not get banned or anything lol! but yea that would be my luck as far as the clowns gender preferences go bahahaha!
