Its weird.... I have many set ups in my house and for the first time ever when I changed water (bucket sytles) I found water to be green tinted and a bit stinky.

I check params. and every thing is in check. Ph little high but its always high. It comes out of the tap at 8.5 up here.

My tank is crystal clear after doing a 10% water change.
I have search Green water, tinted water, coudy water and can find nothing.

I have stopped nori clips and decided instead of everyday, everyother will do and kick up a notch on the auto feeder. (filled with cyclopeze, specturm brand marine pellets)

are you saying that the water you are changing smells or the water that you are using for water changes smells?

Have you let anything metal come in contact with your tanks water at all? Years ago when I first got into this hobby, I would use a metal bowl or cooking pan to do water changes, and after a short time, my water would start turning green, and couldnt get it to stop. I never let any type of metal touch my tanks water period anymore and have never had the problem since.

Yes! I found some metal clamps I used that were exposed to some salt water.... I have removed them. Check my params. everything looks good.
