    I have those on my rocks. They will stab you in the finger when ever you go to lift a piece of rock out of the tank.... Learned this as I transferred contents to my new tank!

    There seem to be two sizes, the one you have and there are ones that have shells that are twice the diameter. The big ones really irritate corals but the little one do not.
