    Looks like a feather duster/tube/fan worm of some sort.Easy to care for,they filter feed and love an occasional spot feeding

    sorry to burst the bubble but that is a crinoid feather star often confused, good in nps tank it likes detrius and live phyto high flow hard to find in good condish.
    15-$150 very pretty though:kiss:

    Just looked that up and I believe you're right.I've never seen one before,neato!

    And Delly,nps means non-photosynthetic.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's a basket star.

    While beautiful they do not belong in the average system.

    They should be consider expert only and left in the ocean.

    NPS (non photosynthetic) requires a constant supply of fine particulate matter to meet it's dietary needs.

    ya i started looking things up about them and got sad because i will not be able to house one in my tank. but maybe someday i will.

    As more NPS system devolve out there i think we will see more of them in the hobby. I kept two years ago and it was tough. But not impossible in a system developed for it. Had to keep the water at 72*, plus it would hide all the time. They are pretty freaking amazing when they swim around too.
