    I dont recall seeing anyone asking if you are using RODI water or not. I live about an hour away from you and my phosphate count in my water is terrible. Until I used RODI water, I too had a considerable problem with cyano. Even after switching I still must use a phosphate remove ( i use rowa phos). It was a matter of 2-3 days after adding the phosphate remover, the cyano was completely gone.

    Please remember that the chemical treatment is not going to stop the cyano from comming back. Another sign of cyano can mean that you do not have enough circulation in your tank. My first guess is that your're not using RODI water and/or phosphate remover

    I'm not using RO or DI water. I have both at work so its free to me.
    Whats the best way to replace what I got in the tank?

    I live in Montello Wis. before I move to Madison last year
