I have 'Roids!!!

    Those look like some kind of duster from that picture.
    I had a strange thing in my canister filter last time I changed the carbon. I had left it without opening it for about month and a half and there were these clear/off white little soft jelly like blobs the size if a dime stuck to the sides of the filter in the inside. Are these hydroids? If not then what were they? I left them alone because I want to incurage the fauna in my tank and just leave the micro lifeforms to grow. What were those?

    Looks like a zoa/pally type thingy. But they are a anenome huh. And for sale someplaces. Why would anyone want them? I guess if there is a buck to be made then///

    Sorry to say, they look like roids to me. Stick polyps are much larger and, well, they only grow on the "stick" that is created by tubeworms.

    These buggers are really small....about 1/8 of an inch tall....and they are their own colony, not in old tubes....::)

    o...well...not all stick polyps have to grow on tubes also ur prolly right because of size but the shape and color reminded me of yellow polype :p

    Yeah, I have some yellow polyps, they are cool! But these are much smaller, thanks for looking around tho!;D
