i have this odd looking thing

    it looks kinda like a small bees nest. i just noticed it when i turned my lights on to take a peek and i spotted a bristle worm by it i am wondering if it is a sponge or some kind of nest thanks for the help

    its odd its like the size of a half dollar and i just noticed it today
    ill keep watching it i see another one that is about the size of a pea on the same rock maybe smaller

    They do filter feed so they will take some of the nutrients from your water.
