    I'm loosing my mind!!!

So the hobby was expensive and it took a lot of my time and attention... blah blah. We wanted to move so I changed priorities and now... I can't say I regret selling all my stuff... but I do miss it.

I don't go to other sites because there is no reason to research stuff. But I always really liked 3Reef. I can't seem to tear myself away. I suppose it would help if I changed it from my home page on my browser.

The house went on the market last Friday and we already have had 3 showings. There is not a tank in my forseeable future..... but I can't stop thinking about my dream tank.....

    Somethings gotta give.

Go small for now? I am really enjoying my Dymax IQ3 pico at work. I paid $69 for it from Big Al. It is a silly easy tank. I have yuma, GSP, a bubble and some critters. It's not what you had, but it is salt and a lot of fun.

There's no such thing as overkill ;)

On a serious note, you could start a small tank or two to experiment with. From the sounds of it, your dream system may take some tinkering, so why not start on a small scale, to get some ideas for latter?

Hey I had a PM calcium reactor on a 20 long once. :)

Personally I'd just wait to go big if you just put your house on the market. I moved by tank at the beginning of the year and it was hell. And it was just a 36 gallon.

I agree with everyone else, go small for now and stay in the hobby.

Well the house is the big thing... and moving would suck. I bought my setup used from a co-worker. We moved it in a day.... but doing it for a move would be much more stressful. I realize people do it, but I don't feel like it.

I do keep an eye out on my local forum. At some point I might start collecting things. I would want to save money this time around and I know I could do things much cheaper waiting for deals. At least save some money for the more important stuff.

I don't want huge, but thought about a 60x30x24 180g.... then I thought maybe two 4 foot 120g... I want a peninsula.... and thought maybe putting two 120s together peninsula style with one being a LPS anenome tank and the other being SPS.... hummmm

Well we were looking at houses and there was one with a built in tank. (Nothing to shout about) But the wife said it would be perfect for us. I asked why and she said that she needs a new house and I need an aquarium

    It's a start...
