    Hahaha!
    Great stories guys!

    Here's mine.....
Picture me, just out of school at my first job... a pet store of course. They say "Clean the algae in that tank." while pointing to a 240 full of big fish. I should have suspected something, but Noooooo, I climb up and stick my hand armed with scrubby pad in... one fish seemed to like me, I asked what it was and would it bite me.... "That's "Lizzy", she's a Queen Triggerfish... naa, she won't bite." I don't remember them laughing then.... but after that evil fish from hell took about a 2" chunk out of my hand, them rushing a hysterically screaming (I think I was yelling, "YOU SAID SHE WOULDN'T BITE ME!!!!!") teenage girl (that would be me, lol) to the hospital and getting 12 stitches and numerous shots..... they all had a grand old time laughing at me everytime I passed the tank while giving it the evil eye.

    Ahh, memories..... :)

    Oh boy, where to start.

    • My worst injury was a bite by a huge lobster. (I keep large species of mantis shrimp and I've never once been hit by one so go figure).
    • I developed a severe allergy to any Euphilliad coral which made my arms swell up.
    • I dropped a magnetic ballast on my foot and broke off my large toenail. I've been bit by a tomato clown.
    • Various nicks and scrapes.
    • I've gotten the runs MANY times from starting a siphon with my mouth.
    • One day I brought in a shipment of so many zoanthids that my exposure to palytoxin was very large. I was sick as a dog for the next 3~4 days.
    • I've been burned my MH bulbs
    • I had my tank try to burn my house down. Read this thread http://www.3reef.com/forums/general-reef-topics/fire-safety-38360.html

However, the funniest stories have been from some of my part time employees. One day I had Nick target feeding one of the sharks with a feeding prong. Well the goofball was only paying attention to the shark he was feeding and he had all of the rest of the frozen silversides in his other hand. (Mind you the he had his other hand actually hanging in the water). I'm sure you can guess the rest....a different shark came up and bit him on the hand. You would have thought he would have learned his lesson when he got bit by a huge triggerfish by doing the exact same thing.
We make fun of him to this day.
