    Coraline with White spots

Any ideas on what it might be or how i should react to it its been there all over the coraline for a few weeks and its not from bleaching it looks uniform and covers all the coraline, should i be alarmed about it or is it something that happens to the algae...

    What are the following parameters?

    Calcium
    Alkalinity
    Magnesium
    Specific Gravity/Salinity

Also, what kind of lighting do you have?

sounds like the coraline is dieing, nothing to really be alarmed about thou.A change or lack of one of the top 3 in your water parm can do that, new bulbs can also do that. as long as your parm are good, it will come back after a while.

Do you have a picture? Based on the info you've provided, it could be anything. Maybe even just spirobids...

no need to reduce your light imo - it will come back. you might want to check your cal and mag levels tho

Doubling his lights probably bleached it a bit, after the tank and coralline get used to the new stronger lighting and with proper parameters, the coralline will acclimate and start taking back off again if thats the issue.
