Everything I've read said that bristle worms like to come out and scavage at night, NOT MINE! These things are out (well most of their body is out, they almost always keep one half their body in the rock) most of the day! Last night I finally got the red light, I was so excited, I shut off all my lights and waited patiently for the night party to start..... shined the light in (about half hour later) Nothing... My shrimp was porking out but that was it...

When I was moving the coral that I didn't think had a worm, it crawled out next to my finger! They are definatly not shy....... Wierd

I don't know about you, but im glad i don't see half the things that are living in my tank. I have seen one bristle worm before and it was small, maybe 2in. and I had a shiver run up my spine. After seeing one that size, i don't know if i could ever put my hand in the tank again.

Yeah dude. Be careful. That one is pretty good sized. You will want to get rid of it. Net it if you can or bait a nylon stocking trap. If they get big enough, they can actually take out fish. Yum Yum.

And they breed quickly. I would get a predator in there asap. If your tank will allow it, there are certain kinds or wrasses and dottybacks that will do the job. Also a coral banded shrimp or an arrow crab will do. However, the arrow crab is a bit tempermental. It likes to kill other invertabrates. So purchase with caution. John.

Take the rock out that has the worm/s, get a bucket, put 1g of water in it and 1 cup of salt. Hypersalinity for 10-15 mins as a dip will chase anything out of the rock without harming the coral or rock.

No it's not the bad one. I just wish it wouldn't eat my stuff. it's so cool to look at, I hate to kill it!! Can it live in the FOWLR tank or is it a bad idea there too??? In that tank I have an angel fish, yellow tail damsel, zebra fish, two clowns, a few snails and hermits...
