I Just Don't Get It...

No one is interested in most of the wild species with the exception of a few, namely considering most other species get relatively large and aggressive. Designer Ocellaris and Percula equal more profit, with the exception of a few of the newest Maroon morphs, and maybe Galaxy Clarkii's. Plus it may be harder to get many of the wild species, most wild species not commonly found in the hobby are usually extremely rare in the hobby and the wild, like the Oman Clownfish.

 

here is the true story why? because they can, they can charge this price because they get it from somebody, if nobody paid it they would sale for less, just hold on Mr. Bill the price will come down.

 

the folks are Sustainable Aquatics are doing alot toward teh captive breeding and rearing of many species. I see they have a new website that is moderately functional, but you get the ideas. I know they bring larvae from the ocean and raise it.
