I just found a good deal its a 75 gal with a 48" t5ho 4 bulb light. It also came with a yellow tang and file fish it has about 90 lbs of rock and some coral. I gave $300 for it, the guy had it setup but it didn't look good at all. I think it had a Cyano break out and I'm kinda scared to put the rock and corals in my display tank. I have a 1 year old 125 setup. I know I'm going to nuke the rock I know I just don't know what to do with the corals. I have them in a 20 gal tank with the fish right now accumulating. It also came with a protein skimmer the very same one I already have so thats a score. was wondering if it would infect my tank with Cyano. I have a skimmer a uv light and phosban reactor running at all times. I just know I don't need a Cyano out break. I don't want to lose the corals either I got some really nice recordia and mushroom's 2 Kenya trees, allot of zoa frags and a massive CUC to add to my already massive CUC...lol But, what I need to know is can I put the coral into my tank and should I nuke the sand with the rock before I put it into my tank.

I would throw the sand out period. The corals and clean up crew should not cause a cyano break out.

Give the skimmer a good cleaning.

The sand contains lots of bacteria and detritus you do not want unleashed in the tank also.
