I just got clown fish (: Buts got food questions

Okay I just got clown fish and just added them into the tank (they are the only fish in my tank, and their isn't any anemone or corals yet because only could get the fishys today so got them (they will be corals and anemones later on) <3333 but now that i try to feed them (maybe they were feed at the fish store before i feed them or maybe they are stress bec on the way home) but the fish food that i got is called Boyds vita diet (slow sink 1.5 6 0z (180g)) and these clown fish r small/med i would ill upload a picture later on in this post (then you can tell me if these are falses or w.e)

but anyways if a fish spits out the food does that mean its full or he or she think its too big for its mouth? and also what the fish food does

They don't need anemones to survive also.

 

i have a tiny damsel and he spits out a pieces of food if he bit into a piece that was to big for him

 

So should i get different food? or if it gets wet wouldn't tht help or should i just go get new food?

 

I'm confused. The fish isn't eating? What are you trying to feed it?
If its a new fish it may take a few days for it to start eating.

 

you should probibly buy a simpler food like omega one marine flakes or nutrafin pellets my fish love these
also what type of food are you feeding pellet, flakes, waffers

IME, fish will spit out food the deem too big to swallow. How large are the pellets and how small are the fish?
