    I hear the same thing, almost nightly. Usually 3 or 4 clicks then nothing. I've never spotted the culprit, but I do suspect a mantis, as I tend to find vacant nassarius shells laying around quite often. I've never really fished one out to see if it has holes in it, maybe I'll have to check that out.
