hey everyone, I am just excited and wanted to share a couple things

I have a 210 gallon tank, 2 mogul bulb metal halide lights, a new 40 gallon sump that I kept really simple, just 3 dividers one where the water comes in, the second with some live rock and chaeto, and the 3rd empty, just a return pump.

I purchased a big protein skimmer a few months back, I had a cpr backpack that i bought when I only had a 37 gallon tank, its not big enough my current tank of course so I bought a coralife and I love it. I cant afford an octopus one but if you are on a budget I cannot recommend this enough. I don't even have it in the sump, its still hanging on the back and my water has never been so clear.

But the pride and joy of most of our tanks is our fish, I have a coral beauty, a yellow tang, a sailfin tank, a lavender tang, 5 green chromies, 2 pajama cardinals, a swallowtail angel, a brittle starfish, 2 clowns with 2 anemone, one of them a black white clownfish, and one orange and white clownfish. I put both clowns in from 2 different tanks with their anemones, one anemone was small, the other huge, and they both moved in together. Its crazy to see 2 different clowns hosting the same anemone but they do, I was surprised because I bought 2 black clowns that were in the same tank together for weeks without an anemone and as soon as I put them in my tank they fought over it and one killed the other.

So I was at the pet store the other day and they had a sailfin tang for adoption, I already have one but they are one of my favorites so decided to pick him up. I put him in my tank and my other tangs were perfectly fine with it. I thought for sure there would be a problem but he swam up to my other sailfin tang and just started following him around like they were old friends.
My wife came home with a thorn back cowfish just last night that she named MOO MOO. He is very small and I put him in and he started eating within 5 minutes. He is doing very well. I have some coral but he is so small I dont think he will be a problem with it.

My next plan is to remove the chromies (they are getting big) Add a convict tang and a handful of banggi cardinals and enjoy my fish!
