Sounds like a fantastic Christmas. Congrats on your new son. Nothing beats being a Dad. When my son was delivered (he's fine now)... it was incredibly scary... his heart stopped for several minutes... real bad story... but it all ended great. When we brought him home I would just sit there and watch him breath to reassure myself that he was breathing. I know what it is like when your baby is in the hospital. Once he was okay, the sky seemed bluer, the air was cleaner, it seemed like everything took on deeper meaning.

Now, 14 years later, he is toying around with me building my first reef tank. I hope in the future that you will be able to share this hobby with your son. It makes it all the sweeter.

    Congrats and Merry Christmas

Congrats on the lilman and your wife wanting you to keep the tank. Sounds like you have a wonderful family.

:) ya last night we were sitting in bed and she asked when I thought we would have the 2nd tank up and running and i said in reality prolly 6-8 months that way i know were doign good and no more hospital ( bills for those) visits and we will do it. Id love to start this when hes walking that way we can go to fish store together. I love my wife and i will be def holding onto her cuz she knows how much reefing means to me.

Thanks everyone for the responses and wishing everyone a great awesome new year! Lol for once i have a real reason to celebrate with the wife over the new boy!
