    You have a few options.

    1. Put it in feed well and put vitamins in your food along with selcon or a garlic product. And hope for the best.

    2. Since you can afford to order an achilles. Get a QT tank up now. Even though its not cycled and stuff you will have to maintain water changes and good conditions for the fish. Constant testing of water parameters will be involved.

    3. When it comes Find someone willing to buy it or trade it in asap.

Quit freaking out...ich isnt a death sentence...a healthy fish will get through it with proper nutrition (garlic and amino soaked food). Is your Achilles gonna get ich? Absolutely.
....The real issue ur gonna have is 2 Acanthurus tangs in a 150....that will probably be the death sentence to one of them (my guess is the new achilles, with the ich helping)...Just keep their food soaked and hope for the best.

The cheapest way is to go get a Tupperware container, a cheap hang on the back filter, and a heater. Make up some salt water at 1.010 salinity and put your fish in there for 6 weeks while your tank and ick settle and hopefully go back into dormancy. If there are no corals in the main I would slowly decrease the salinity in your tank to 1.010 and let the ick die off. Just my opinion low salinity seems to work well for me.

It Kind of like having a roomate. If you share a spacious 2 bedroom apartment, you have some space. If you are sharing a dorm room, if a matter of time before you get on eachother's nerves.

The QT tank is a great idea so you can see how he looks coming in. After he is fat and settled when you add him to the DT rearagnge the rocks and keep the lights off for two days. This may work, but your Naso might show agression too he is in a little bit of a small tank as far as swimming room.

Each fish has a different personality and Kevin is a Tang master with 6 that get along, so I would heed his advice and remember a fat happy fish can't be almost anything.

Yeah bud thats the kicker. I THINK a smaller tank might be very stressful. But if he is going to be picked on, get ick, and worsen because of the other tangs, then its a damned if do you/don't situation.

You could get a nice rubbermaid and some rock from you MT and he would have a decent amount of space. You might also be able to do this after introduction if its an emergency with bullying, though I wouldn't advise it.

20% of fish carry Ick anyways, in their gills, behind thier fins, so if you are getting a healthy fish you might just try the lights out/reaquascaping.

Worst case scenario re-direct the fish to me. I can rehome my Lavender ;-)

check (craigslist) ther is always cheep tanks around. a 30-40 gallon will work as a QT tank and a few pices of live rock will keep down the stress. a good hang on back protine skimmer can be all you need for filtration.
watch your water conditions and win your ready to add the new fish find an aclimation chamber and use it .a small critter keeper works well.but doctor foasers and smith have one on ther sight liveaquera.com
