I need a phone number!

I'm trying to think of a number for a business that deals with scorpionfish... lionfish. Venom. Predators. Carnivores.

Everything is 8 freaking letters that I want.

Any suggestions for a 7 numbers? I'm afraid if i shorten it like we do for license plates, people won't remember which letter is missing. Like Lionfsh. You can read it, but would you remember what the number equivalent is suppose to be?

That's why most businesses cut off the end. For example, 1800LIONFISH would really be 1800LIONFIS, while the H wouldn't ever be caught by the phone system if people dial it.

 

We were thinking about this as well, but I was having trouble finding a number that actually does it.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Just cut off any number which would have too many digits otherwise, like all the ones you say you want but have 8 digits.

1800 CARNIVORE = 1800 CARNIVO
1800 MY VENOM
1800 4 POISON

You just use the full number as an easy way to remember. If someone dials more than 10 digits, the phone system ignores any past 10.
