How long has the tank been set up? Tangs produce a lot of waste, may i suggest taking back the sailfin and replacing it with the flame angel?

I think you're gonna get in trouble. Tangs are already pushing that tank even with overspec equipment. Take a look at the sticky in ASAP with parameters, fill it out, and post it up. My guess is you can't support the angel.

Putting it bluntly, tangs have no business in a tank less than 90g IMO. They require so much swimming room that I even have a hard time rationalizing putting one in my 90. A 72" tank would be perfect. But that hippo is going to grow to 12 inches and the sailfin to 8 if I am not mistaken. The maroon clowns are even too big for that tank. They will get to 7 inches. The biggest fish I would put in that tank is one that grows to a maximum of four or so inches, such as a flame angel or coral beauty. Just make one of those the centerpiece of your tank and get some smaller stuff to fill in the gaps. I am conservative in fish stocking admittedly, but I would not have more than 13 inches of fish in a 55g. If all of yours were to grow to size, you would end up with over 30 inches of fish in there.

And a word of caution. A mated pair of maroons is very expensive. If you have been lucky enough to introduce two maroons into a system and they have actually chosen their respective sexes after the dominance struggle, you have a very nice centerpiece there. However, they will outgrow the tank....so think ahead on that one. Also, do not put any more clownfish in your tank. The maroons will kill them. They are not the kind of clownfish that tolerate other clownfish. They don't even tolerate juveniles in their own family group. They are loners. So just keep an eye on them. There is so much difference between the maroon clowns and all others that they have their own genus.

PharmrJohn has said all the right stuff. Looking at your tank as "how much can I fit in here" is not a good mindset and it's going to cost you livestock, and it's going to cost you work. A reef is a semi-selfsustaining tank when done correctly. That means it's less work in the long run if you do it right. Fewer water changes, less illness, less stress. The goal of a good reef tank is to be a good reef. It doesn't have to have a lot of fish to accomplish this. Good luck, and hopefully you get your head on right. (And if you find my head, please send it back ASAP! I lost it, and my mind years ago)
