Well you wanna look at this video YouTube - Aquascape Party v.2

Hope this may give you some ideas. if you can lay it out on the floor and see what you like and how you want it to look. You can also look a making pvc framing and zip tying the rocks to it. or there are different types of glues you could use to as well.

tip 1 make sure you can clean your glass so you want atleast a couple of inches between them.
if you don't have much rock for your tank you may want to think about building a rack out of pvc, it will fill a large amount of space saving you much money and giving the fish a place to hide. just make sure you have enough rock to hide the rack

you really just have to try some different things, see what works for what shapes of rock you have. Do you have some lr already in the tank or is the 70lbs the first rock going into the tank.

I had to rearrange my rocks around five times before I got something I liked and could build on easily. Start out with a central theme (which could be offset from tank center) and build from there. That's what I did. I started out with an inverted U to give a sandy lagoon look and built to the right. I ended up with something I loved. Now I have to tear it down to change tanks.

....but I get to upgrade to a 90g:eek:;D
