I just dont get it. I have tried to place 5 fish back to back to back in my tank and they all die off after about 1.5 weeks. They all die from Ich but no other fish in my tank gets sick.

    I have about

    20 Astra snails
    8 turbo snails
    3 emerald crabs
    1 fire fin goby
    1 lemon damsel
    1 Diamond goby

And a Flame Angel that has been in there for about 12 days and now is showing ich.

My tank specs are as follows

    70 Gallon

    0.0ppm Amm.
    0.0ppm Nitrite
    0.5ppm Nitrate
    0.0ppm Phos.
    11 DKH
    420 Cal
Mag is right around 1525 last time I checked dont look at it much

I do water changes every month 10 gallons RO/DI with Coralife salt

    What am I doing wrong?

I would suggest not adding anything new for a at least a month or two. This will allow the parasite to go through it growth and death phases. If your other fish don't get it, you should be ok. The longer you wait, the more effective it will be.

Is it really that easy? I never have any problems with corals etc.. Just fish really getting old.

Should I try a "Reef Safe" ich Treatment? or just let the Angel die and dont add anything for a good 2 months?

    TIA

I would put the Angel in a quarantine tank and treat it in that. Then there is no risk to the rest of the tank. Good Luck! I couldnt sit there and just let it die without trying.

How long are you waiting between adding fish? You should give at least 2 weeks, a month ideally, between adding fish for the tank to catch up. Otherwise, you are overloading the system too quickly and all kinds of problems will keep occuring.

only thing I would add now is a cleaner shrimp. then wait it out for a month then add a fish and see what happens then. all hail the cleaners.

Boo Ya! This is what I'd do. Add a cleaner shrimp. Also try soaking your food in garlic before feeding. It helps boost their immune system and helps them fight off ich/ick (however you want to spell it). Treating in quarantine would help, but removing the fish only adds more stress to the situation. Seems like you have resilient fish in there as it is, and if they've lived through 5 fish already, chances are they'll make it through this one - especially those damsels.

    I have

    1 cleaner
    2 fire shrimp

I think, it might be I am adding fish to soon.

It is 70 Gallon with a HOB Aqua clear filter running carbon and just the foam sponge. I took the little rock things out since I have around 80 pounds of live rock. I am running a Skimmer as well. The water quality does not seem to be the issue TBH.

It has been up and running for about 4 months.
