I need ideas for 40 breeder DIY stand

    I have a center leg in the front, but not the back. I did that for the same reason that you mentioned. I plan on putting my sump in from the back, but wanted the doors to have someplace to rest on in the front.

    I used this tool:
    FishandTips.com: do it yourself aquarium stands

    I used 4x4's I wouldn't again. I would have built it like I build work benches. 4x4's for the legs and 2x4's or 2x6's for the sides depending on the length.

    I would get a Miterbox/handsaw kit for a cheap saw.
