    Hey Guys

This is slightly off topic but I figured that it would do better in the LED forum rather than in the OT forums.

I am currently in the process of building a custom desk/shelf/entertainment center.

Here is an example of what I am trying to recreate

Mine is slighting different but still very similar. The desk portion of mine is going to be longer, and there will be 3 shelves, and 1 shelf for my iMac. My 42" HDTV will be hung on the wall and there will also be another shelf under the TV for my cable box and xbox. About 2 feet under that shelf, will be my desk.

I would like to use the RGB LED strips that work off of a remote control. What is confusing me, is if I need to order a custom unit for this.. one that is already wired for the exact amount of shelves that I will have, and with the exact length of LED strips needed. Or is there a plug and play option available, one that I could buy say.. 3 16" strips, 2 24" strips, and maybe a 36" strip for behind my tv, and plug it all into one unit so that it works off of 1 remote.

Any tips? If you can't tell (which I am sure you could) I am a bit unexperienced when it comes to LEDs. Any help is appreciated.
