Please some suggest to me how to remove Maxi Mini's from a rather large piece of LR, that cannot be removed from the tank.

Tis was an uneducated newbie buy way back when. Now I want them out for I fear for my soon to be lil Mandarin.

It should know to stay away I'm sure. But I belive some one told me once that you can make like a piece of ice and use it to pick it out and should release its foot.

I heard you can do it the same way as you do with a BTA aim the powerhead at it and it will try and move, when he starts it will be easier to get

Then, mail it to me, Todd Bouton, in Franklin WI!

I've got a large one now, and love it.

Todd-if I can get them out ALIVE they're yours!! I've covered 1 with a piece of black garbage bag. Hoping without light/flow it'll move :) I can't use ice as I can't get to the foot :( which are in holes!

ive had a maxi mini go without light for 3 weeks without moving i think you would have more luck taking a maxijet and some tubing and having a strong-moderate direct flow at one for a few days tops.

... Think spitwad. Take some tubing and have focused flow just on the nem. Not enough to harm it but enough to be really irritating and it will start to move. should only take a few hours of having the apparatus pointed at it.
