i need to move a fish b4 he kills my other fish

i put my starry blenny in my 29 with my jawfish and theyve been fine for a week while i set up the blennies new home. the blenny is chasing the jawfish. i would just take the rock that the blennies hiding in and put it in the 40 but the sg in the 40 is 1.022 and the 29 is 1.024 i dont want to shock him by moving him. will the sg change kill him?

 

sorry right after i posted i caught him now im aclimating him to the new tank

 

i dont think it will if you drip acclimate him in a bucket or large bowl. i have a easter bucket from my nephew that i use and havnt lost any fish or inverts since doin this. i just assume the lfs water is diff from mine.

 

i use a 1 gallon pitcher

ok hes in the 40 now got the sg the same then put him in.
