I never believed galaxeas.... Until today

    Never believed it when I read online that the tentacles could reach 1 inch in length.....until today

    mine use to get two to four inches long. I found keeping mine on the side of the tank away from others with a flow that pushes any sweepers towards the glass, worked out best. I actually haven't seen my sweepers in months. With regular feedings and the above placement it seems happy happy happy, growth is good and so is coloration.

    Wow Swiss you have some aggresive coral species in there.Very nice.I would keep that and the Pavona well away from each other.;)

    Currently they are literally at opposite tank ends, i knew galaxeas could be nasty but pavonas too? I asked this in another Thread but acros would lose the battle between these two?

    We just had to move two corals this week because we were seeing ours put out feeder tents 4" long and was zapping corals down stream...

    I've seen both of my galaxea's tentacles reach a good 4-5" but once I put some heavy flow on them the tentacles haven't come back, I still keep them away from others just in case ;)
