I have an orange spotted goby that is the thinest thing you will ever see. At first I thought it was because I had a dino outbreak. Then I thought it was because it was afraid to come out of its hiding place because my red sea sailfin picked on it. Got rid of that....still did not gain weight! I was target feeding him, increased his feedings, always used HUFA and good quality food...nothing

So last night was reading about sleeper gobies in the new Reef Life mag and saw that these guys have a high incidence of getting worms that will make them get thin! A lightbulb went off:idea: It has worms! Derrr....I did not go to nursing school for nothing!

Did you get Plexipro or Prazi Pro? I wanted you to get a product that contained praziquantel.

If he hasn't been eating, I doubt he will fatten up, and suspect he'll fade away.
If he has been eating a lot, but he's still skinny, then maybe it's worms and can be cured.

yeah he eats the food and eats fairly well. He does not sift sand very much. But he will eat the food that I target feed him
