i don't know whats gotten into her lately. Tonight i just caught her on the table, we had just gotten done eating, and as i was going back downstairs to clear it off i saw her stick her head in a bucket of butter! I mean what was she thinking! as soon as i saw her i yelled at her she got off i smacked her but, she let out a huge yelp and i locked her into her kennel. I'm soooooo glad i caught her because she could have gotten extremely sick especially since she has a sensitive stomach as it is, but i couldn't imagine what would have happend if she would have eaten the butter.

Earlier today i caught her on the chairs yelled at her about that, and she had gotten up onto the table once before and smacked her but about that. I just don't get it.

And this is a little tiny 7 pound chihuhua doing this

Solution...get a 300G predator tank, and a nurse shark...threaten her that she will be food if she keeps acting up...lol

just like a kid...testing your/her limits. but like they say "its all fun...until someone gets hurt" ..butter wouldn't kill her, but the mess on the other end might be bothersome ; ) lol

Psssh, I hate it when people are soft on their dogs. Dogs won't learn if you don't teach them. Good job PC :D Sounds like your "dog" is being a tad rebellious. Maybe she's checking to see if you forgot the rules of the house.

My dog knows he ain't supposed to be on the furniture. Actually, I think he's scared of being on furniture. He sure gets in a car seat willingly enough, so maybe we just taught him right :) As for food, he's willing to risk being yelled at if food is involved  Food is worth anything to him. We normally keep it out of reach at all times, but on those times we forget, he doesn't.

HEY!!! Aren't dogs supposed to be part of the family? All ya gotta do is bark a little, sniff & pee all over the neighborhood and BOOM, job done!! She was just trying to tell you to get out the popcorn; give her the remote; get out of her chair, & put on "Old Yeller" or "Lady & the Tramp" or some tunes like "Three Dog Night";D
