Not to mention, this is a Chihuahua. It's not even a real dog! ;)

I would have given it another stick of butter, and then let it outside so as not to have to deal with the mess. If it eats enough and gets sick from the butter, it may associate the butter with getting sick and then not eat it again. Their heads are awful small though, not sure how much information can rattle around in there...

lol just this morning after she ate the cubbords wors slightly open, i caught her trying to open the bag of chips

    lol that is too funny

shut your mouth chihuahua's are real dogs. and no it wasnt a stick of butter, but i bet your right though, about the getting sick and not eating it again

    really how strange lol

she is not a rodent, people need to quit compairing her to pests. She's been called a cockaroach and a new york rat. And the butter that we have is countrycrock churnstyle butter

Yes. A constantly nervous, quivering rodent.

That eats butter and jumps on furniture. Get the pellet gun out; I smell vermin.

omg. lol. That is hillarious. My male chihuaha is a little ****. He does the exact same stuff you're describing. He also jumps INTO the trash can when we're not around. He's actually gotten stuck in the trash once when he went after some leftover macaroni or somethin. I got home and all I could see was his head sticking out of some papers. Needless to say, he got beaten within an inch of his life and he no longer has access to the kithcen when I'm not home!

I'm pretty sure all Chihuahuas would die if forced to live in the wild.
