Ok, like the title says, I've said before I would not buy any more angels after my bad experience with 3 of them. Two Lemon Peel Dwarfs and a Flame Angel as well, all succumbed to my tank, with exception of the first Lemon Peel, which I oxygen deprived due to lack of knowledge and keeping the tank lids on without a way to oxygenate the water.
Now, the other two, died for no reason... I tried to feed them all kinds of food, from a frozen sampler with spriulina, squid, mysis, brine shrimp to flakes, dry seaweed and "Acrti Pods" from Reef Nutrition, all of that soaked in garlic and to no avail. The angels would refuse to eat, then hide behind rocks for the rest of their short lives. After that, I decided my tank was an "Angel Killer" and that I wouldn't buy anymore Dwarf Angels,.... but....

I couldn't help it! And it's reef safe. I bought yesterday a Coral Beauty and a Vlamingi Tang as well... So, without further ado, I present to you the new fishies!! =D

Nice looking fish. Hope it works out better for you this time. I just got a flame angle and she hid and would not eat for 4 days. But now she is a little pig. :) One trick is to sit next to the tank a lot. This way they will get use to you being close to the tank, then when you go up to feed it wont scare them into hiding.

Thank you! I hope it works out as well. I'm really concerned now since the Angel didn't eat yesterday, but I saw him picking at the algae clip a little bit today. The Vlamingi Tang didn't it brine yesterday, but really tore the algae clip down today.... so, a little optimism comes from there.

I wish the angel would start eating brine, since that would put a little more substance in his stomach.

Thanks for the trick about sitting in front of the tank. I usually go look at it several times a day and other fish don't really mind my presence, but I'll just sit there every now and then during the day so they also associate my presence with dinner and swim all over when somebody gets close.

    I'll keep you updated.

Is it me? Or is that not a Naso Tang. I have a Naso, and it does not look like a regular or Blonde. I will research it. Just asking.

You're right! It was sold to me as a Naso Tang. Thanks for ID'ing him. They sure grow too big for my tank... so I guess I'll eventually have to take him back to the store when he gets too big for my 55... what a pitty.

EDIT: I corrected the text so it says "Vlamingi Tang" instead of "Naso Tang". Thanks for your help ID'ing this fish. I like him a lot, just wish he wasn't so shy.
