i seem to be stuck showing only one post

i'm more of a reader than a poster, so although i have been a member here for some time i don't have enough posts to enter the latest contest. i have made recent posts complimenting videos entered in the contest and i still only show as having one post........anyone know why???

 

Contest forum doesn't count toward posts. Neither do the bucket threads/sponsor forums or Hello threads iirc.

You do! With 2 years of reading, there is no doubt your 2 cents could be worth quite a few dollars to one of our newer members!

since i run my own forum for a totally different subject (internet radio). What is a bucket thread .

 

Any thread under the "bucket" forum. The hello threads are the ones in the "Say Hello" Forum. They are general and fun so 3reef doesn't count them towards post counts because they don't enrich the site with fishy info.

my skimming has caught up with me .... i always look at the title line to the post not the forum it's in .......guess i should have paid more attention to the forum structure. you just have so many experienced contributors I have never come here thinking i could add to what they know just learn from it and make my tank a better place for my swimmy things.
