    Its midnight and im wide awake because my husband comes home from a 7 month deployment early tomorrow morning. The amount of excitement is overwhelming! We have not seen each other in 7 months, no web cam or anything, just emails. He is in the Navy and this is our second deployment and im so glad its finally over... I did it!


    P.S He has not seen the tank yet, I started it the month he left and secretly I think hes almost more excited to see it then he is me! lol

    Oh I bet you are excited. It's sad being away for that long.

    My dad was in the navy for 22 years...retired 9 years ago. I can remember 2 deployments he went on. I hated when he wasn't home. But now he works first shirt and he is always home when I am.

    Uh, oh does he know you started the tank? haha

    Yes, the month he left I told him I wanted to start a tank and was just planning on freshwater but he begged me to do saltwater (neither one of us have ever had a saltwater tank) So I took my chances at it and now im addicted!

    Congrats and be sure to give your husband a thousand thank yous from all of us here for the service he has done. My dad is retired Air Force and I know first hand the tole it can take.
