i'm not sure if a stink bug's stinky chemical would hurt marine life or not but i wouldn't be surprised if it does because it's a defensive compound i got some in my eye once when i was young and it burned for hours running carbon should remove it from your tank does this post make any sense or do you find it hard to follow without basic punctuation?

Might be a waste of your time, but it's a bigger waste of our time trying to figure out what you're talking about!

Drinking morning coffee and about to get to work (in NJ – live in PA)Just north of you Trapstar991 in bucks. Anywho, I didn’t read all the posts less the first one.

These damn stink bugs are everywhere, its to the point I see them and I just flick it with my finger and let the cats eat it – I no longer can be bothered to pick it up and toss it outside.

I have a 55 gallon open sump in my basement and a refugium with two open area’s combined about the same exposed water surface as the 55. Stink bugs are always getting into the water and drowning (maybe 5-6 a day). I make ro/di water in a 50 gallon trash can and I pull them out of the make up water as well. They are a nuisance but not toxic in my opinion since I have not had any issues. This past year has been the year of the stink bug for sure ! But when I was out in Hawaii my brothers house had geckos and cockroaches everywhere – said its too expensive for an exterminator so they live with them ….I’ll take the stink bugs any day !

Your problem (in my unqualified yet experienced opinion) is not due to stink bug infiltration and subsequent suicide.
