i think i had a spawning event [pics added]

    So i am having baby pocciloparas popping up at random places all over my tank... i really didnt think that a spawning event would be successful and actually create fertilized larvae, let alone allow them to settle down at random places, and then against all odds even be able to go throughout metamorphosis and actually grow into a baby coral!

    This is soo cool that it happened and I get to see the baby poccis popping up now :)

    That's so cool!! You'll have to take some pictures when they get big enough to see on film.

    Awesome.... Congrats. From what I understand, your corals have to be extremely healthy to even spawn in the first place. Having them actually grow is rare indeed.

    Do you have any pics of the newborns?

    i can attempt a pic tomorrow... but I dont have the dslr up here at college and they are pretty small for an iphone pic!

    Oh man thats awesome! I have heard of this with pocciloparas before and they seem to get mad at it. I wish i had all sorts of corals spawning in my tank! What color are they?

    just the basic pocci color: dark tissue with fluorescent green tips on the polyps
