I am going to try to post a pic, my camera is old and not good with close ups so I will describe as best I can. If the pic shows up it is the blurry white/black striped tentacles halfway down the rock, below the polyps. I have had 4 tentacles (could be more, but that is all I can see) coming out of a piece of live rock for about 2 weeks now. They are always there, day and night, they withdraw into the rock if I get really close to the glass or shine a flashlight on them, so it is alive. I have featherdusters, a peanut worm, spaghetti worms, and last night I saw a small bristle worm I think, in the other rock, so I know it isn't any of those. The think is, it NEVER comes out of the rock, I have stayed awake practically all night, and it has NEVER come out, is this common? I have done extensive google image searches and it looks like the "tentacles" of a bobbit worm, what should I do? I have corals, one on the same rock it is in, should I break the rock open? Also, if anyone has any pics of just the tentacles coming out of a rock, would you please post them and let me compare? Thanks in Advance!
