I agree you're on the right track as far as tank age and concern for powerheads. You light will be fine. Other than what has been stated about covering K's with netting and giving the nem time to pick a spot there's not much that can be done. What color is the bulk of the tentacles? If they are bright white you should give it some feedings once a week to help it regain the symbiotic algae.

Another note. If it decides to free float around for awhile don't stress it too much mine did for about two weeks before attaching and settling down.

it is mostly purple i think my friend may be wanting this guy seeing as she has a brank spanking new light for her tank comin her way for xmas ;) and she is in love with purple things (her tannk is older then mine ) i do care for her tank alot because shes busy with school so im ok with her having it bc its still secretly mine mwhahahaha. we are currently in negotiations for custody of this guy.

is it ok to take it out of my tank after being in it for a day and a half and put it in her tank or should i hang onto it for awhile first so it calms down?

I personally would wait at least a week or two to move it again. There's no huge rush and it will make the transitions easier on the anemone, it's just barely getting settled in your tank, to move it again now could be really stressful.
