    There are those things ALL over my sand bed, clear with one brown line down the middle... Am I right???? There are sooooo many!!!!! I wish I could get a picture but they are TINY.

    check the tank after its been dark for a couple of hours
    and be prepared to be amazed

    Thanks Steve! I'm already amazed, there are just so many that it looks like my sand is literally alive! I'm giggling with excitement!!!!

    Awesome congrats, they will thin out as the food level goes down in your tank and they are eaten by your inhabitants. You will still have plenty but won't notice them as much.

    I know, its just weird seeing them! I haven't noticed them before. :eek:

    It's crazy when they explode like that, and I was disappointed when I couldn't find them any more.:cry:

    I always had a ton of pods in my 5 gallon Nano
    I had no fish in there, so the pods knew that it was safe and stayed out both day and night

    I have a ton of pods in my 5ft, but I only see them if I put my lights back on after they have been out an hour or 2
    because the pods in that tank know that when the wrasse are under the sand bed
    its safe to come out of their holes

    It is. Its like they literally came out of no where! People keep telling me SW aquariums are just like freshwater... BS :) SW is more exciting by far.
