I think I need new reflectors??

So I have had hamilton reflector for about a year.I looks better when in a full canopy(ABOVE THE TANK NOW IS THE MAKE SHIFT TEMPORARY LIGHT BAR),BUT I really am losing a lot of light with these.I like the look of the tank with out a canopy now, and was wondering if any of you have used these above reflectors with out a canopy(my bro is kinda handy and can build me a nice bar to hang them over tank). or if there are any other ideas im game..trying to talk santawifey into an early gift;D..
The reflector now seems a little to short to me,really had nothing else to compare it to..but after seeing some of your light set ups I realized how short it was....

this is a pic of my 90 with a single Lumen Bright 3 SE Metal Halide Reflector Dimensions 16"x16"x7.9" hung directly over the center of the tank 20" off the water. it is a 400 watt setup which turned out to be too much light, eventually i'll get the correct ballast and downgrade to 250's and add the second reflector.

you wont be disapointed with these reflectors!
