I think its coraline

Hi
I,m getting small white spiral spots on the glass and other stuff in the tank. Coraline???

 

sounds def like that could possibly be coraline

 

I have some white coraline in my tank, in areas where it grows close to the light. I don't think its spiral though, some of it might grow that way, but I don't think all of it should be like that, it might be something else. Scrub it off a bit, if its easy to take off, its probably not coraline.

 

Yeah!!! Finaly after a year I got coraline. How do you get rid of it????? HA.
Wish I had a good camera. They,re approximately 1/8 spiral circles and kind of crusty like barnicles, calcium

 

coraline usually starts its growth lookin like a spiral i have them as well and have had them in spots that are now bright pink spots of coraline also to add I think coraline is very beautiful and would love to have to whole back wall of my tank encrusted with it.Getting rid of it is not something I am lookin for right now even though I do find myself scrapping more and more off the front glass of the aquarium.

 

Spirorbid worms!

 

I had tons of tiny red feather dusters all over my glass a long time ago, started out as little white spirals.

 

Feather dusters would be great too.
