I think my anemone is dying

    Alright i'll see if the LFS will let me take it back. The people in the store had me convinced I could keep one! I guess not, thanks for your help everyone.

    of coarse, people will do anything these days to get a stupid 30 dollar sale. Id give them a piece of my mind if i were you. Thats damn rediculous. I hate hearing this, but i guess thats what the real worlds about now. I wouldnt go to that lfs anymore...

    If they won't take it back ask them to do a trade. The small LFS should do that for you.

    Smart move.

    There are exceptions to keeping anemones in new tanks, but typically the tanks themselves are new, but everything else is from an established tank.

    The coloration on that one looked pretty ridiculous. Like too good if you know what I mean. Wholesalers have been known to dye them to get them to sell.

    Now if your tank was established, and this was the first time you saw it spew out stuff, then i would have said it was simply taking a number 2. They only have 1 orifice, so what goes in that mouth, comes out as well as waste from time to time.
