Well it's been a while since I haven't seen my cleaner shrimp....
I think twinkle toes died :(
I've had him for about 1 year and a few months. I haven't seen him for 3-4 days..
What makes me think he died is because even when he molts he hides on this rock all the time where I can see him. But now he isn't there.

I'm going to take a trip to my lfs to get a replacement... Maybe Monday.
So, I was thinking on getting a few.. Maybe 3 or 4?
For my 150g tank if that's ok?

I was debating that yesterday with my lfs, whether I should get more cleaner shrimp or instead to buy a porcupine puffer fish. ( because I thought they were pretty cute. Hehe)

but I wasn't so sure ( bioload wise) so I didn't get anything other than my 2 tomato clowns. (<== that is mr teasing you guys in case you didn't notice lol)

    So what should I get?

    Ps.. R.I.P twinkle toes.

I've had my 2 cleaners is a 29g for a little over a year. Yours could have switched hiding places while it molts if something was bothering it.

Aside from that would think 3 or 4 in a 150 would be fine. They don't create much waste.

    Let's see those clowns. :)

Oh ok.. What about the puffer fish? Think that would be to much?
I was thinking on adding 1 Koran or emperor angelfish and a regal tang but I'm afraid my tank is about to reach it's limit and a puffer added to that might not be good.
I really want to add the puffer but I can just get the cleaners instead if it would be to much of a bioload for my tank to handle.

Well depending on the combination of fish you decide to go wiht(from the list you just mentioned) I would err on the side of caution and consider the puffer to be a bit much.

But...you could if you just added the puffer & maybe hold it with that?

The cleaners would be no problem along with the puffer. But if you wont those two(the puffer & a few cleaners), get just those.

I thought the puffer would eat the shrimp?
That's why I thought it was one or the other?

Me and the guy from my lfs were talking about it.. He said that now that I didn't have a shrimp I could get the puffer. However, since I'm dying to get my regal tang and the angel... I'm not so sure on the puffer anymore.
So maybe I should just go with the cleaner shrimps?

If you want the tang & the angel, skip the puffer. So yes, you can go ahead on the shrimp.

Btw, do you think a powder blue tang would be alright in a 75g? (I have the rest of my stocking list in my build thread.) Once the tank has matured of course.
