I am very curious to see if other Tomini Tang owners have observed the same behaviour:

Right after my tomini tang is done eating, almost every time he will swim up to a spot in my scape, back himself in to a little nook, and squeezes out a happy little bowel movment.

Does anyone else's tomini or any tang, or any fish for that matter, seem to share lineage with felines?

LOL my lawnmower blenny does the exact same thing - he comes up the the front of the aquarium same spot and lets one go. Every day an hour before the day lights go out

HAHAHAHA that's very interesting to hear!!!

    Thanks for sharing your stories!!!

The reason we even noticed is that we saw a little patch (size of a quarter) of cyano in what was a "lower" flow area (DT has 60+ turnovers/hour) so I thought it was odd. So we have been observing this spot and finally found our finned caper!!!

I wonder if this same behavior is observed in the wild or if its induced by captive pressures.
