Also, I have a pic of my dad doing the same thing with me when I was little. He turned this hobby into an obsesion, then I turned it into an obsesion, and now my kids are following suit...........its a never ending spiral of obsesion!

At least there's just one of him! Mine didn't need step stools - they had each other! Like the time they made a pyramid to get on the counter top and get the knives down, which were on top of the refrigerator for a reason....they were probably 2 or 3 years old then. Don't you feel better now? ;D

I agree. My nine year old is already planning his first tank when he grows up. Little does he know I am going to outfit him one this next year. He feeds the fish, does parameter checks, makes decisions regarding any changes in lighting, skimming (wet or dry) etc. I'll guide him of course and make sure he doesn't overdose the system with anything or make any major mistakes, but it is going to be his tank. Should be fun.;D

I can't wait to be able to hand one over to my daughter. She is only 19 months old now but I can tell she really enjoys the tank.

my kid is the same way Amcarrig, We have a swing for him that we set about 3 feet from the tank, he sits there and leans forward watching everything going on for a while, I've sat him there had him pass out and wake up an hour later just to watch them for another hour post-nap Told the wife it's the best $3500 I've spent in a long time building this 90g lol
