Has anyone had an experience of a Keyhole Limpet eating/aggravating a blastos coral enough that part of a Blastos Polyp has degraded/reduced.. I acclimated a blastos coral about 3 weeks ago, as well as other corals since, and had no trouble with any of the other corals but did with the blastos. I noticed that a rather large keyhole limpet (about the size of a dime, if it were oval shaped) kept picking at the blastos. At first it just seemed that the blastos polyp had merely receded. I removed the troublesome limpet and put him in the sump and now the frag is doing fine but there is still a section of the polyp that seems eaten away. The frag consisted of three polyps and the other two are healthy and full with good color. All other corals are doing fine

Nope, keyholes can, and will eat certain corals and hydroids. The "non-keyhole" limpets are algae grazers.
