I WILL have a horse some day. It is a serious point because my original property purchase was marginal at best for keeping one. Now, I'll just save up and get there eventually.

I feel I have a duty to animals to be responsible. I feel responsible to fish, I feel responsible to horses.

I'd say if you got a really small one, hobbled it's legs, and surgically stapled it's belly you could keep one for at least 3 months.... ::)

Oh the kids these days. :uneasy: Internet cred is the new street cred. :shame:

Horses are a very expensive hobby just like reefing. If your going to keep on at your house you need an acer per horse, shelter, proper fencing or paddock, feed, and supplements. If your going to have it at your house it will bs a lot more work than when having it at a boarding facility. If it's st your house you will have to clean out the stalls/pasture. Get up very early to feed and do the cleaning. Then you'll have to exercise the horse, weather it be trail or arena which if it's at your house sounds like you won't have an arena. Horses can't just sit and be an ornament in a yard.

I strongly advice boarding the horse at a boarding facility that way the feed and and cleaning is more than likely taken care of. And all you have to do is pay the monthly expensis and of course take care of the horse.

Horses have a lot of hidden expenses, you have the monthly board, shoeing, cleanig supplys for the horse. Along with vet bills that are not cheap.

All in all just really research about what it takes to reallly own a horse. I have two horses and been rudin all my life. I love this hobby just please really research what if takes to own a horse.

Good luck, ask me any questions if you need to know any more :)

    woooooowww

    nice kid huh?;D

although i do believe you guys harrased him a bit to much:eek:
I think both sides were a bit to much...

it would have been better if he had accepted the critisism instead of getting his "fingers" loose.. lol
but I mean, that thread was to show his tank off, not really to ask whether his tank could support a tang. ( which ive got to say it look pretty nice)

yeah the tang is not suited for the tank blah blah blah, but i mean, he did say he wasnt going to keep it there forever. ( maybe it would of died first?) idk lol views on this are pretty complicated.

i guess i would of just restated the tang wasnt suited for it, but the rest was pretty nice looking.
