Wow, I have to say that is one time I am glad that I wasnt online last night. Having read the thread I can honestly say that I didn't see anyone besides the OP being nasty. Most of the advice was probably calmer than I would have been and I am not the tang police. It is a shame that some people think that "tank threads" are supposed to be all about nice tank, and such. Personally if I posted pictures I would want someone with more experience to point things out to me that I might have missed.

Thanks to the mods that do such a great job keeping this site friendly, but yet helpful!

 

this is very true.. Ive had ( well not nessesarly me) but my dad and uncles have like 20+ horses on our ranch back in mexico. although their ranch is pretty huge and there is enough grass and space to keep them happy so its a bit less expensive.

 

Ultimately, I say let this be a lesson to all you younger ones out there:

If you don't want any criticism, don't post pictures. It's that simple.

 

Sometimes the people that need the most help, do not ask questions. So if an opportunity exists to teach something, then we have a responsibility to educate.

yeah this is true, tank threads arent all about how cool your tank is..

im just a little um... not upset( im glad that the tang was brought up), but more like surprised, that that thread was all about the tang when he only wanted to show the tank off and his achievements. like i said before, the tank looked pretty good, if it wasnt for his tang it would of been a really cool thread.
i think they tried to hard to convince him of something that he already knew but chosed to ignore ( if that makes sence?)

dont get me wrong, i strongly believe he was wrong on the tang being in a 29G... but it wasnt really his intent ( as far as see it) to get critisied on the tang. But he did went beyond rude when the comments were not bad.

 

well i read that thread this morning,ppl lilke that need to spend a few days in jail or a small smal room and see how they like it that kid was a very irresponsible reefkeeper now lets just pray he dont lock his kids up when they are babies and say they are fine till they are about 10 jesus. just my .02
